Betty G. (Schnarrs) Butterworth, 91, of Endicott, NY, and formerly of Philipsburg, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016 at Mercy House, Endicott, NY.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Rosewell Butterworth Jr.; her parents, Henry and Verna (Conklin) Schnarrs; her brothers, Ronnie and Lexington Schnarrs; her sister-in-law, Shirley Schnarrs; and her great-granddaughter, Rina Anne Weeks.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses; her seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; her sisters and brothers, Carole Schnarrs, Bernice (John) Albert, Henry Schnarrs, Duane (Mary Lou) Schnarrs and sister-in-law, Sue Schnarrs, all of Philipsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Family was a very important part of her life. She loved all of them dearly, and each one had a special place within her heart.
The family will receive friends at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg, from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service at 1 p.m. The Rev. Spencer Garvin will officiate, and burial will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery.
