Milan Derby: Late Ivan Perisic strike salvages a point for Inter

Ivan Perisic’s injury time strike earned Inter a late point against AC Milan in the fierce city derby.

Suso’s two goals looked to have given his side a narrow 2-1 win, but Perisic’s 93rd-minute goal ensures the bragging rights don’t go to the red side of Milan.

A wonderful curling effort from the Spaniard gave the home side a first-half lead, but Inter hit back early in the second period through Antonio Candreva’s long-range drive.

Another individual effort restored Milan’s lead soon after, only for Inter to level the score at the death.

AC Milan goes joint second with Roma, while Inter is way back in ninth.
