Obituary Notice: Carolyn (Green) Ball

Carolyn (Green) Ball, 37, of Berwinsdale died Nov. 16, 2016 at her residence. Born Sept. 15, 1979 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Lee Green and Betty (Queen) Green.

She was a graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School and Clearfield County Career & Technology Center.

She was a member of the Irvona Presbyterian Church where she was a deaconess. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at Geisinger Scenery Park.

She was involved with the Mo-Valley Grid Iron Club as vice president, the Mo-Valley MAT Club and the Mo-Valley Woman’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her estranged husband, Brandon Ball of Madera; her parents of Berwinsdale; two sons, Joseph and Jacob Ball of Madera; two brothers, Brian (Johnice) Green of Paradise, Md., and Keith (Angie) Green of Ramey; and grandparents, Jean and Jerry  O’Dell of Grampian.  She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Curt Queen and paternal grandparents, Ernest and Eileen Green.  

Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday at the Lloyd Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona.

Friends will also be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday at the Irvona Presbyterian Church. Services will be held at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Bob Dunkelberger officiating. Burial will be in the Lyleville Cemetery.
