Philip R. McGarvey, 34, of Elmora, Pa., and formerly of LaJose, died Nov. 12, 2016 at his residence.
Born March 5, 1982 in Meadville, he was the son of Don McGarvey and Ruthann (Kitchen) McGarvey.
He was a graduate of the Harmony Area High School in the class of 2000. He was employed by Farrell Paving as an equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn (Price) McGarvey, son, Summet McGarvey and daughter, Madisyn McConnell, all of Elmora; his parents of LaJose; his brother, Todd McGarvey of LaJose; and his sisters, Louri McCulley of Hastings and Michelle Hess of Mahaffey.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home, Irvona.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Lay Pastor Gary L. McGarvey. Burial will be in Harmony Chapel Cemetery, LaJose.
