CLEARFIELD – The Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus will perform at Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m.  The chorus, from State College, is under the direction of Graham Sanders.

The chorus repertoire includes both traditional barbershop music, and newer songs the audience will recognize that have been arranged in the barbershop style.

In addition to the 25-plus voice chorus, the performance will feature several quartets comprised of chorus members.  Wild Pitch, a quartet with members Joe Bitner, Mark Ciletti, Brian Humm and Bill Drosnes, performed at CAST several years ago.  They are pleased to be taking the stage once again with their fellow brothers in harmony.

“We were very happy with Clearfield’s response to barbershop music when our quartet sang here.  On Nov. 12, we will showcase the entire chorus,” said Joe Bitner of Clearfield, who sings bass for the Wild Pitch quartet.  “We are looking forward to another warm reception.  Anyone who enjoys acapella music will love the show.”

Tickets are $12 each and seating is open.  Tickets can be purchased online at the CAST Web site, www.clearfieldarts.org, or at the box on performance night.  Doors will open at 7 p.m.

All tickets sales for this concert will be split between Nittany Knights and Clearfield Choral Society.
