At the end of the year, Aetna and UnitedHealth Group will cease offering health insurance through the ACA marketplace in Pennsylvania. Aetna covers 31,000 Pennsylvania marketplace customers, or 6 percent of the total. UnitedHealthcare, America’s largest health insurer, will withdraw from Obamacare coverage in most of the 34 states where it offers ACA plans including Pennsylvania.
