State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking or disposition/access device fraud Monday at a private residence in Pike Township. During the incident, a Curwensville man allegedly removed a 32-inch television from the victim’s residence, as well as used her bankcard without permission. The total amount stolen was approximately $3,000, state police said.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Sept. 20 on Buttonwood Street in Unionville Borough. During the incident, a Unionville man allegedly stole scrap metal that belonged to the victim.
- State police received a report about an incident of access device fraud that occurred between Sept. 21 and Oct. 1 on Kauffman Lane in Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly used the victim’s credit card for five, fraudulent charges. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a report about a disabled vehicle in the area of Bigler and Elk avenues. Upon arrival, police found it had moved from the scene.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious person in the area of East Pine Street. Upon arrival, police were unable to locate anyone.
- Police responded to a report about an open door on Nichols Street. Upon arrival, police secured the residence.
- Police reported that someone entered a shed along Cumberland Street. It did not appear they had removed anything from inside, police said.
Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a psychological emergency in the Leonard Street area.
- Police responded to a report of an alleged burglary in progress at a Hyde residence. However, police searched the residence and there was not anyone found.
- Police received a report about juveniles who were allegedly trespassing in the area of Bowman’s Hill Road.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with a mental health patient on Leonard Street.
