DUBOIS – APJ Antiques and Treasures LLC opened its doors April 1 in DuBois and recently held a ribbon cutting. The owners are Arthur and Pat Pilatsky and Joe Gallagher.

The store offers a variety of old furniture as well as newer pieces. It has a selection of collectible items, including old Christmas decorations, comic books and vinyl record albums.

The store also has lots of small, old items that were used in households many years ago.

Unique to the store is a quilting room, which offers a place to buy thread by Mettler, Robinson-Anton and Aurifil; pre-cut fabric and kits; needles, scissors and rulers; and more. There are also old quilts and linens available.

The store is open 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. It is located at 212 W. Long Ave., next to Doc G’s Brewing Co.

During the month of December, the store will also be open on Mondays, in addition to the regular store hours.

An open house event will be held from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Dec. 2 for Chamber members and guests. A discount of 10 percent off an entire purchase will be offered to Chamber members.
