WINTER SPRINGS, Fla. – Bigler Boyz Towing & Recovery of Woodland captured the third-place prize for Car Carrier in the national Shine ‘n Star Tow Truck Photo Beauty Contest, hosted by Tow Times magazine and powered by Ford Trucks.
The 2008 International 4400 with a Kilar Series 14 bed sports a red, white and blue patriotic-themed custom paint job with stars and stripes in honor of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Since then, all of Bigler Boyz’s tow trucks have been painted with a similar patriotic theme.
One of the company’s fleet of tow trucks, spill response trucks and support vehicles, the International 4400 was chosen out of 550 entries submitted in five categories this year from around the nation and Canada.
By winning the Shine ‘n Star Tow Truck Photo Beauty Contest, it will add a notch to Bigler Boyz Towing & Recovery’s years of service in central Pennsylvania and beyond. The business engages in light- and heavy-duty towing and recovery, as well as long-distance towing and air cushion recovery. Bigler Boyz also specializes in Hazmat clean-up and recovery.
The annual Shine ‘n Star Tow Truck Photo Beauty Contest – which is celebrating 25 years in 2016 – taps into towing operators’ pride in their fleet, giving them an opportunity to show off the beauty and brawn of their equipment. Like many tow truck operators, Bigler Boyz Towing & Recovery loves its tow trucks, according to a Shine ‘n Star contest press release.
The Shine ‘n Star Tow Truck Photo Beauty Contest offers 16 cash prizes, with third-place winners, such as Bigler Boyz Towing & Recovery, also featured in a future issue of Tow Times magazine.
