WINGATE – Due to heavy rains that have hit part of the area, the American Red Cross Central Pennsylvania Region has opened one shelter and is staging to open additional shelters as needed to provide safe places for individuals displaced by rising waters.
Shelter Location:
Bald Eagle Area High School – Wingate, Pa. (Centre County)
- Roughly 50 people in shelter (as of Friday morning)
