Tree trimming work will begin Monday, on Route 350 in Centre County, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
Trees will be trimmed and or removed on Route 350 in Taylor Township to just north of the Rush Township line.
From mid-October into January of 2017, crews will be working Monday through Thursday during daylight hours. Fridays will be used as make-up days in case inclement weather affects the regular work schedule.
The tree trimming and tree removal will be within PennDOT Right-of-Way to enhance safety for motorists. Drivers should expect to encounter flaggers in the roadway enforcing an alternate, one-lane traffic pattern.
- W. Reese of Mercersburg is the contractor for this work, which is weather dependent.
Drivers are reminded to use caution in all work zones, obey posted speed limits, and always buckle up.
