Lawrence P. “Larry” Spinelli of Captain Cook, Hawaii, and formerly of Curwensville, died Wednesday Sept. 14, 2016 at the Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale in Hawaii.
Born July 1, 1951 in Clearfield, he was the son of Joseph F. and Flora M. (Maloni) Spinelli. Mr. Spinelli was a photographer.
He was a graduate of the St. Francis High School in Clearfield as well as of Grahm Junior College in Boston and Nyack College in New York City with a Bachelor’s degree in music.
He loved to sing and play the piano; also, he always loved and had dogs.
Surviving are his mother of Curwensville; two brothers, Ron Spinelli and his wife, Ellen of Boalsburg and Joseph Spinelli III of State College; a nephew, Jason Spinelli and his wife, Aimee of Colorado; and a niece, Dana Spinelli of State College.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private services will be held at a later date.
The Dodo Mortuary in Hawaii was in charge of the arrangements.
