State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between Saturday and Monday on Main Street in Coalport. During the incident, someone allegedly damaged two inflatable Halloween decorations. State police are continuing their investigation at this time, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield barracks at 814-857-3800.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of theft/criminal mischief that occurred between Sept. 25 and Monday on Pigs Ear Road in Highland Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed items from and caused damage to the victim’s property. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call in the South Park area. However, it was made as a result of phone issues at the residence.
- Police responded to a vehicle accident on North Second Street. Two occupants were transported to Penn Highlands Hospital for minor injuries, police said.
- Police responded to the area of West Locust Street for a report about alleged criminal mischief to motor vehicles.
- Police responded to Lower Witmer Park for a report about a bike being thrown into the river. Further, police located the people involved in the incident.
- Police responded to a domestic dispute on Daisy Street. Further, police were able to resolve the situation.
- Police responded to an alleged burglary in progress on West Pine Street. Two suspects were taken into custody and arraigned on charges, police said.
- Police responded to a report about a suspicious person at Sheetz. However, the male had left the scene prior to police arrival.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about lines being down in the area of Village Road. Verizon was contacted in order to correct the issue, police said.
- Police receive a report about an alleged incident of burglary in the area of Meyers Circle.
- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with a report about a burglary in the area of Martin Street.
- Police receive a report about suspicious activity in the area of Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about a disabled vehicle in the area of Daisy Street Extension and Woodland Road.
- Police received a report about a lost wallet in the area of Plaza Drive. It was later located and returned to its owner, police said.
- Police receive a report about a missing juvenile in the area of Capitol Hill Road.
- Police responded to several residential burglary alarms that occurred overnight.
Sandy Township
- On Friday police reported that a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Dubois man was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting a vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Reynoldsville man that was stopped in traffic on South Brady Street.
- On Friday a 38-year-old Treasure Lake woman reported to police that she was being harassed via text and phone call by her 24-year-old estranged boyfriend. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police reported a false alarm Saturday at FedEx.
- On Sunday a 32-year-old Treasure Lake man reported that he and his 35-year-old wife had engaged in an argument. She had also set a bug bomb off in the bedroom he was in, forcing him to flee the residence, he told police. Officers arrived at the scene and handled the situation without incident.
- Police responded to a South Brady Street residence for a reported domestic disturbance between a 22-year-old woman and her 23-year-old boyfriend Sunday. It was verbal in nature, and officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police were called to Tozier Avenue Sunday when a 41-year-old man picked up his son from his sister’s residence. It was reported that an argument ensued when he asked her for his son’s shoes. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about a bald Caucasian man who was driving around the parking lot of Taco Bell in a white pick-up truck Sunday. Employees stated that he’d stopped and approached the restaurant windows to talk to them before leaving. Officers then observed the man, a 52-year-old from Sykesville, in the parking lot near McDonald’s. He pulled out when he saw them, but officers pulled him over in front of the DuBois Diner on Route 255. Police issued him a warning for insurance cancellation.
