CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, recently announced the promotions of Kylie Ogden to compliance officer and Joel Zupich to credit officer.
“Kylie and Joel have demonstrated their ability, willingness and desire to continue to develop their career through ongoing training and long hours to improve the bank’s service in each of their areas of expertise,” said Bower. “Their work ethic and drive has led to these much deserved promotions.”
As compliance officer, Ogden specializes in the research, interpretation and clarification of complex regulatory banking requirements and oversees compliance for all three divisions of CNB Bank.
She assists in the review and update of bank policies and procedures, and is responsible for coordinating audits and regulatory examinations. She provides insight on new product development, changes in existing products, the marketing of products and supervises the compliance department.
Ogden joined CNB Bank in 2012 as a teller and was promoted to compliance specialist later that same year. She has also been chosen to participate in CNB’s Leadership Institute.
A native of Clearfield, she is a 2008 graduate of Clearfield Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s in business administration/finance. She volunteers her time and talents serving our community as a Clearfield Borough Zoning committee member, and as a Clearfield Vision 2020 member.
As credit officer, Zupich is responsible for assisting with the management of the Credit Administration department at the main office in downtown Clearfield.
He applies his expertise by reviewing financial statements for commercial loans, assisting loan officers in the preparation of loan requests and underwriting commercial loan packages. In this capacity, Zupich and his staff support lenders from 43 branch offices of CNB Bank, ERIEBANK and FCBank.
He joined CNB in 2014 as credit analyst. Prior to joining CNB, he gained 11 years of banking experience working as a loan review analyst, financial investment analyst and commercial credit underwriter.
A native of Clearfield, he graduated from Clearfield Area High School in 1999 before attaining his Bachelor’s in business administration from Gannon University in 2003.
