Patricia “Pat” J. Tapper, 82, of DuBois died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born June 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Allison and Annabelle (Smith) Connor. She was a 1952 graduate of Sandy High School.
On Feb. 14, 1953, she married Raymond R. Tapper Sr. He survives.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, going to yard sales, doing housework and most of all, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Gary Tapper of Cleveland, Tenn., and Raymond “Rick” Tapper Jr. and Mona Seary and her husband, Brandyn, both of DuBois.
She is also survived by a brother, John Connor of DuBois; two sisters, Barbara Mosher of DuBois and Nancy Landis and her husband, William of Ashland, Ky.; four grandchildren, Jason and Jacqueline Tapper and Rachel and Rebecca Seary; one great-grandchild, Luke Tapper; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Allison Connor Jr.
Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Kenneth Sherwood officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
