Coral M. Bailey, 88, of Clearfield died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 at home. She was born Aug. 31, 1928 in Camden, NJ, a daughter of the late Ray and Hazel (Conklin) Berger.
Mrs. Bailey was employed by Sid’s Six Pack, Clearfield, for 15 years before retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ and the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1785 Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by four children, Cindy Thompson and her husband, William of Munson, Alvin Bailey and his wife, Teresa and Glenn Bailey, both of Virginia, and Robert Bailey of Clearfield; five grandchildren, Heather Bailey, Elizabeth Dozer, William Thompson, Alvin Bailey Jr. and Jeffrey Thompson; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, Norman Berger of Alabama.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bailey, on July 8, 1970 and to whom she was wed Dec. 13, 1947 in Newportville. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Berger and Robert Lawyer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield, with Pastor Isaiah Krause officiating.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
