Police Seeking Assistance with Identifying Suspects in Alleged Fraud/Theft Incident

CLEARFIELD – Lawrence Township police are investigating an alleged incident of fraud and or theft that occurred Aug. 17 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, Clearfield, and continuing to seek the public’s assistance.

According to the report, it occurred at approximately 2:21 p.m. and involved two African-American males. They “made away” with $1,500 in cash and left the Wal-Mart parking lot in a red/maroon four-door sedan, police said.

Police described one male as having glasses and wearing gray pants, a white/black striped shirt and black shoes. The other male was wearing blue jean shorts, a black shirt, black shoes and a gray hat.

Police have released surveillance images of the male suspects and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying them. They also want to alert other businesses of the suspects.
