State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness that occurred Sunday on West Presqueisle Street. During the incident, a Munson woman was allegedly drunk and caused a disturbance. She also fell to the ground, which caused injuries to her head, state police said. She was taken to the Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital for treatment; she was charged with the incident and lodged in county jail.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime Saturday or Sunday in the area of Bailey Road in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly took two wooden, rocking chairs off of private property. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred sometime Sunday or Monday on Commons Drive in Greenwood Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly entered the victim’s residence and shed and once inside, they removed three cordless drills and an air gun. - State police received a report about an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Saturday on Lake Drive in Pike Township. During the incident, someone allegedly took an orange purse that contained several items belonging to the victim, including identification. State police described the suspect as being a Caucasian male with a thin build and short hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Clearfield at 814-857-3800.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Sunday on Centre Street in Union Township. During the incident, a juvenile male was allegedly setting off fireworks in a residential area. He was cited for the incident through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of disorderly conduct in the area of Edgewood.
- Police received a report about a road rage incident on Daisy Street Extension.
- Police received a report about a civil issue in the area of West Front Street.
- Police received a report about a phone scam in the area of Hazel Street.
- Police responded to an alarm at a business on Route 879. It was set off by a delivery person, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of loitering and prowling. However, the known male fled the scene prior to police being contacted.
Sandy Township
- On Friday residents of a Hanes Drive apartment alleged to police that someone came in and took a big screen TV, a blue ray player and several other items. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- While investigating the previous theft incident Friday, police located a 37-year-old Luthersburg resident sitting inside a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Upon further investigation, police found the vehicle had the wrong registration plate and fraudulent inspection and registration stickers; they also found that the owner’s driver license was suspended, according to the report. Charges have been filed as a result of the incident.
- On Friday a 41-year-old Treasure Lake man reported to police that he had hired a 38-year-old man to do some contractor work around his home. He paid the man $663 but he allegedly never completed the work. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police were called to Cayman Landing for a report about a suspicious van driving around the area Friday. However, the vehicle was gone upon police arrival.
- Police found a 21-year-old New York man lying on the ground Saturday near the Mr. Tool entrance of the DuBois Mall. He was intoxicated and had minor injuries to his face, police said. Emergency personnel were summoned, and he was transported to Penn Highlands for an evaluation.
- On Saturday an Athena Drive woman reported she was trying to leave her residence and her husband would not let her. Officers arrived and handled the situation without incident.
- On Sunday an 18-year-old Reynoldsville man and his 16-year-old girlfriend took political signs from the area of Hawbakers on Route 219. Officers had the teens put the signs back and the situation was handled without incident.
- On Sunday a 24-year-old man reported that his ex-fiancée and her boyfriend picked up his daughter and when they pulled out of the driveway, their vehicle was “spraying” him with gravel. Officers handled the situation without incident.
