Arthur J. Bresnahan, 75, Treasure Lake, DuBois, and formerly of Madison, Wis., died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at his home.
Born April 6, 1941 in Waukon, Iowa, he was the son of the late Clem and Ella (Phelan) Bresnahan.
On Oct. 19, 1963, he married Judi J. (Bouska) Bresnahan. She survives.
Mr. Bresnahan retired as vice president of advertising at Flambeau Corp.
He was an avid golfer, a member of Ducks Unlimited, and he enjoyed restoring model ships.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Dr. Sean P. Bresnahan and his wife, Elka of DuBois and Shannon M. Ehnert of Mud Creek, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Rylee Bresnahan, Justin Bresnahan and Manny Pineiro and Abagail ZumBrunnen, Heidi ZumBrunnen, Michael Ehnert and A.J. Ehnert; and three great-grandchildren, Chase Piniero, Maiya Piniero and Evelyn ZumBrunnen.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Meier and his brother, Daniel Bresnahan.
There will be no visitation.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
