Clearfield Revitalization Corp. to Host Farmers/Flea Markets

CLEARFIELD – Residents are invited to browse an assortment of items at the Downtown Clearfield Farmers and Flea Market in the lot on the corner of Third and Locust streets.

“The vendors sell everything, including local produce, plants, honey, baked goods, antiques, collectibles, crafts, books, electronics, games, movies, housewares, clothing, musical instruments and much more,” said Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner of the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.

“If you’re looking for it, chances are someone at the market sells it.”  Also, she adds that select vendors accept the farmer’s market vouchers for eligible foods (fruits, vegetables, honey and fresh-cut herbs) provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and distributed by the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging.

The farmers/flea markets will be held Saturdays through Oct. 1. The market hours will be from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
