REYNOLDSVILLE – Jeff Tech Practical Nursing Class 62 celebrated graduation on Aug. 4.

Brenda Hodge, program coordinator, began the program with a welcome and nursing faculty members, Cathy Striegel and Lisa Dush, gave the faculty address.

Certificates of Graduation were awarded by Joint Operating Committee member Dr. Fred Park and Nancy Rosman, PN faculty.

School pins were presented by faculty members, Karen Harry and Cathy Striegel. Flowers were given by nursing faculty, Lisa Dush and Mary Jo Fish.

Achievement awards were presented by Nancy Rosman. Ashley Welsh was chosen by classmates to receive the “Diana McLaughlin Peer Recognition Award.”

Selected by faculty for the “Bridget Nestor Christenson Spirit of Nursing Award” was Melinda Frye and for the “Mark Ruth Spirit of Nursing Award” was Amanda Cluff for excellence as a returning adult student.

Dawn Larson and Tawnia Ingram were recognized by faculty as the “Student Demonstrating Most Growth.”  Kathy Vandervort was class valedictorian. Ashley Welsh was class salutatorian.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony.
