Delores M. DeGrasse, 67, of Allport and a guest of Windy Hill Village of Presbyterian Homes, Philipsburg, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016 at the home.
Born in Olanta on Sept. 23, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Rachael (Hoover) Fetzer.
On Aug. 24, 1968, she wed Mark F. DeGrasse, who preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1990.
Surviving are her fiancé, Walter Henze of Allport; a son, Michael DeGrasse and his wife, Melissa of Altoona; three sisters, Luann Mulhollem and her husband, Dave of Lanse, Lucinda Lamb and her husband, Bill of DuBois and Jackilyn Tarner and her husband, Chuck of Grassflat; and three brothers, Roy A. Fetzer II and his wife, Dorothy of Conway, SC; Lawrence Fetzer and his companion Michaelene Duttry, DuBois and Earl Hubler.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Dave “Chip” DeGrasse, Joe DeGrasse, CheyAnne DeGrasse, Chasity Thompson, Cotey Barnett and Amanda McClure; great-grandchildren, Mark and Taylor DeGrasse; a god-child and nephew, David A. Mulhollem and his fiancée, Kristy Taylor and their three children, Justin, Lexie and Jillian Mulhollem of Shady Acres; a nephew, Richard A. Mulhollem of Ocean City, Md.; and several other nieces and nephews. The grandchildren’s mothers are Lisa Cathcart, Lisa Cannon and Lisa McClure.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Allen “Skip” DeGrasse; step-mother, Faye Lundquist; sisters, Elizabeth Ann and Ethel Fetzer; maternal grandparents, William E. and Elizabeth (Deemer) Hoover; and paternal grandparents, Edward and Ida (Harshbarger) Fetzer.
Mrs. DeGrasse was affiliated with the Methodist faith. She was a 1966 graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Clearfield. She had worked for the former Skills, Philipsburg, in 1989.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel of Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, with Pastor Tina Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Kylertown Presbyterian Cemetery, Kylertown.
Family and friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale.
