Veronica Ann Kalke, 80, of Maryville, Tenn., died Friday, Aug., 12, 2016 at Asbury Place Maryville, Tenn.
Born March 9, 1936 in Ramey, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Remeselnik) Miterko.
She married Joseph F. Kalke on Nov., 6, 1976 in Ramey. He survives at home.
Mrs. Kalke was a member of the St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church in Houtzdale.
She had worked for McTague Manufacturing in Philipsburg. She was a graduate of the former Madera High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Socolick and two brothers, James and Michael Miterko.
She is survived by a sister, Mary Rose Olsen of San Francisco, Calif., and two brothers, Leonard Miterko and his wife, Jean of Streetsboro, Ohio and Richard Miterko and his wife, Barbara of Broadview Heights, Ohio.
The funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church in Houtzdale, with Father Scott J. Lill as celebrant. Burial will be at the St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Cemetery in Houtzdale.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills.
A Vigil for the deceased will be held by Father Lill at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
