CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Arts Studio Theatre (CAST) recently held its annual Beautiful Baby Contest at the Clearfield County Fair.
This fundraiser collected more than $2,800 for the local arts center. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for some upcoming upgrades to the air conditioning system at CAST.
The babies in the picture are, from left to right, second place winner Peyton Robbins, first place winner Karson Lenhart, and third place winner Madison Karp.
Each of the top three winners will receive a trophy, two complimentary tickets to any CAST production, and their name displayed on the CAST marquee.
Other contest entries may pick up their cans on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., or Mondays and Tuesdays, Aug. 15-16 and 22-23 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the CAST office. After these dates, the cans will be discarded.
The CAST office will be selling tickets for their upcoming production of Escanaba in da Moonlight during the above times. Tickets are also available online at www.ClearfieldArts.org or at the box office prior to each performance.
Volunteers at CAST wish to thank the families, friends, and community members who entered children in the contest, and supported the contest at the Clearfield County Fair.
