Deborah Marie (Raymond) Marks, 60, of Scottsdale Ariz., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2016 at her home.
She was born Aug. 6, 1956 in Philipsburg Pa. She was the daughter of Francis and Catherine Raymond, who survive in Lanse.
She was married in Clearfield, Pa., to Tom Marks, who survives in Scottsdale, Ariz.
She is survived by two children, a daughter, Ashley (Kyle) of Phoenix, Ariz., and a son, Donald of Portland, Ore.
Also surviving are three sisters, Chris (Bob) Bell, Sandy Plubell, and Annette (Andy) Estright, all from Frenchville, Pa., and two brothers, Francis (Mary Anne) Raymond of Snow Shoe, Pa., and Jim (Lisa) Raymond of North East Md., as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Peter and Margaret Alexander; her paternal grandparents, Rodney and Lucy Raymond and a brother-in-law, Mike Plubell.
She was also ‘mommy’ to many adopted/rescued furry and feathered friends.
She graduated in 1974 from West Branch Area high school in Allport, Pa., with high honors, and where she was well-liked and had remained friends with many of her classmates.
She also graduated from the University of Pittsburgh as a dental hygienist. She was a hygienist for Dr. Daniel Dugan in Clearfield, Pa. She continued her work as a hygienist in Canandaigua, NY and in Scottsdale, Ariz.
She always had a smile for everyone. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
