Donald E. Peters, 46, of Mineral Springs died Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 at his home.
Born March 9, 1970 in Clearfield, he was the son of James B. Peters Sr. and Linda M. (Bowman) Peters of Mineral Springs. He was married to Suzette M. (Mosley) Peters of Clearfield.
He worked for the Laborers’ International Union, Local No. 910. He received his GED and was a member of the Fraternal Order Eagles No. 812 in Clearfield. He enjoyed fishing, four-wheeler riding, softball, hunting and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob M. Peters; maternal grandparents, Donald L. and Ruth I. Bowman; parental grandparents, Edward S. and Verna L. Peters and a nephew, Ryan John Ogden.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by a daughter, Taylor E. Peters of Clearfield and whom he loved very much; a son, Tyler E. Peters of Clearfield and whom he loved very much; a grandson, Kayden M. Peters of Clearfield and whom he loved very much; a sister, Lisa A. Conrad and her husband, Jeff of Clearfield; and a brother, James B. Peters Jr. of Emlenton, Pa.
He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Daniel L. Ogden; a niece, Jacquelynn Peters; four nephews, Tanner and Travis Ogden and Shane and Zachary Peters; three great-nieces and nephews; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 9 p.m. Friday at the Calvary Church of God in Mineral Springs, with the Rev. Stan Wisor officiating.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. Friday until funeral time at the church.
