CCCTC Announces New Principal

CLEARFIELD – Members of the Joint Operating Committee of the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Fred E. Redden as CCCTC principal, effective Aug. 1.

Elizabeth Frankhouser, executive director at CCCTC said, “I am very excited to have Mr. Redden join our team at the Career Center; his knowledge and leadership experience will be an asset to CCCTC.”

Redden comes to CCCTC from The Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School, where he served as assistant principal.

In 1998, he started his career working for the Clearfield Area School District in secondary education teaching industrial arts/technology education with a focus on engineering design wood technology.

He graduated from the California University of Pennsylvania in 2006 with a Master’s in education K-12 administration.

In 2007, he became the assistant principal for the Clearfield Area Middle School and the following year was appointed to principal.

In 2014, after the closing of the Clearfield Area Middle School, Redden became the assistant principal for the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.

Regarding his new position, Redden said, “I am excited to be here and passionate to help the CCCTC grow.  I am also excited about working with all the sending districts to ensure we meet the needs of all the students attending the CCCTC.”
