DUBOIS – The next meeting of the Downtown DuBois Revitalization Group’s Beautification Committee will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Luigi’s Ristorante.
Topics of discussion will be the upcoming “Large Item Pick-up” for DuBois City residents, the mural program and weed remediation.
However, the main topic will be the “Large Item Pick-up” scheduled for Aug. 13, starting at 8:30 a.m.
This program is designed to assist DuBois City’s residents who are unable to get large items to the city’s monthly dumpster day on the first Wednesday of each month.
Items must be able to fit in the back of the average pick-up truck and be lifted by two people. Loose items should be bundled for pick-up.
Residents who sign up for the pick-up must be Advanced Disposal customers, and they must register in advance.
Volunteers and pick-ups are needed for this event as well; church groups, civic groups, scouts, individuals, etc. are welcome. To register or volunteer, please call Julie at 814-591-2570.
