CNN is set to host a primetime one-hour town hall with the Libertarian Party ticket, former Govs. Gary Johnson and William Weld, on Wednesday in New York City.
The candidates will take questions from the audience and from CNN’s Anderson Cooper, who will moderate the event, focusing on the current state of the 2016 race and the platform of the Libertarian Party.
Johnson is a former governor of New Mexico and Weld is a former governor of Massachusetts.
The candidates told CNN Thursday that former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who has been a staunch critic of Donald Trump, is considering endorsing them.
The town hall will air on CNN, CNN International and CNN en Espanol, and will be live-streamed online and across mobile devices via CNNgo.
