Edward William Wrobleski, 79, of Madera died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at home surrounded by his family under the care of Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospice.
Born June 19, 1937, he was the son of the late Daniel and Margaret (Kitko) Wrobleski.
He was a 1956 graduate of Madera High School and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale. He worked for Best Jewelers in Philipsburg and Clearfield.
He married Judy Myers on Nov. 23, 1957 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Madera, and she survives at home.
In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by four daughters, Cheryl Wrobleski Hensal, Pamela Wrobleski Wrye and her husband, Robert and Linda Wrobleski Mooney, all of Madera, and Colleen Wrobleski Woodring and her husband, Scott, of Ramey and two brothers, Daniel (Lorraine) Wrobleski of Russell, Pa., and Matthew (Gilda) Wrobleski of Curwensville.
He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, David Root, Bethany Root, Adam Root, Robert Wrye, Alex Wrye, Alicia Wrye, Daniel Mooney, Amber Rodriguez, Alyssa Mooney, Mikala Kawa, Caleb Woodring and Kendall Woodring.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Wrobleski, a sister, Elizabeth Johns and a son-in-law, Tom Hensal.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services Inc., Ramey.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Fr. Marc J. Solomon officiating. Burial will be private in St. Barbara Cemetery, Brisbin.
