CLEARFIELD – District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. has announced Clearfield County’s Fugitive of the Week.

Shaw identified the fugitive as Robert Mack, 33, of Lingle Street, Osceola Mills.

He is wanted for failure to appear at Motions Court on June 14, at which time a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On May 27, 2015, Trooper Frederick Burns of the Pennsylvania State Police, Clearfield barracks, filed a criminal complaint in which he charged Mack with simple assault, M2, and harassment, S.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, on May 26, 2015, state police received a report of an alleged assault that had occurred two days prior.

During an interview, the victim told state police that she and Mack were outside of her residence, when he struck her in the arm for an unknown reason.

The victim also said that her arm immediately began to swell up, and she subsequently learned that her arm was broken.

A preliminary hearing was held Dec. 23, 2015, at which all charges were held to court. On June 14 Mack failed to appear at Motions Court, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Mack is described as an African-American male who stands 6 feet, 3 inches tall. He has black hair and brown eyes.
