State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass that occurred July 7 on Pebble Lane in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly entered the victim’s residence through an unsecured front door. They then fled the scene upon being detected by the victim who was home at the time. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred July 1 on Dakota Ridge Road in Beccaria Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forced entry into the victim’s residence and once inside they stole a stove, washer and dryer and an antique hutch that are valued at $4,000. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
State police at Philipsburg
- State police reported a natural death Sunday at a private residence on Oakwood Street in Rush Township.
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred on South High Street in Port Matilda Borough. During the incident, two males allegedly broke windows out of each other’s vehicle.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by deception that occurred July 5-6 on Union Street in Unionville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly told the victim she would have $47,500 deposited into her account if she paid $3,502.50 to cover the taxes. The victim wired the money to West Africa, state police said.
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred in May/June on Loch Lomond Road in Rush Township. During the incident, someone allegedly scammed the victim into sending them $3,500. State police are continuing their investigation into the incident at this time.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of retail theft that occurred between May 3 and Sunday at the Wal-Mart in Fox Township. Further, a Kersey teen allegedly committed multiple offenses of retail theft, and the incident remains under investigation in order to determine the exact number.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to East Cherry and South Fourth streets for a report of drug paraphernalia being found on the sidewalk.
- Police received a report about a possible stolen vehicle. Further, police found that it was not stolen, and the complainant was advised that their issue was a civil matter.
- Police responded to Power Avenue for an alleged incident of domestic assault. Further, police subsequently arrested one female for the incident.
- Police responded to check the welfare of a male on East Locust Street. Upon arrival police made contact with him and found he was OK.
- Police received a report about a female who was hitting a male while he was waiting in line at Sheetz. The victim knew the female and after she struck the male, she then left, police said.
- Police responded to West Fifth Avenue for two individuals who were looking around the victim’s garage. They ran off when the owner confronted them, police said.
- Police responded to Martin Street for a report about wires down.
- Police responded to CVS Pharmacy for a report about a disorderly female. Police made contact with the female and warned her about her actions.
- Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and determined that the driver was allegedly under the influence. The driver was arrested for DUI as a result.
- Police assisted with traffic control for a bike race.
- Police responded to Daisy Street for an alleged incident of criminal mischief that involved a vehicle. Further, someone shot at a vehicle with a BB gun, causing damage to the rear window and trunk, police said.

- Clearfield Borough police were assisted with locating a person at Lawrence Park Village.
- Police responded to a psychological emergency on Cindy Lane.

- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on the Clearfield – Shawville Highway.
- Police responded to a civil dispute at the Economy Inn.
- Police received a report in which internal abuse was alleged at the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.
- Police received a report about a traffic violation in Hyde.
- Police received a report about a lost license plate on Anderson Street in Curwensville.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft at the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.
- Police received vehicle repossession information from a business on Route 879.
- Police received a complaint about fireworks at the intersection of Montgomery Run and Coal Hill roads.
- Police received a found CNB Bank debit card.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of harassment at Lawrence Park Village.

- Police were dispatched to a possible structure fire on Bowman’s Hill Road. The fire was out upon police arrival to the scene.
- Police received a report about a possible intoxicated male. However, police were unable to locate him upon arrival in the area.
- Police responded to a minor accident at McDonald’s. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- Police responded to a business for a report about a male who was dumping oil in the parking lot. Upon arrival to the scene, police made contact and spoke with the male.
- Police responded to the Economy Inn to check the welfare of a male. Upon arrival to the scene, police determined that he was OK.
- Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the Wal-Mart Supercenter.
- Police received a burning complaint in the area of the Lane Trailer Court.
- Police received a report about suspicious behavior or activity in the Lane Trailer Court.
- Police responded to a structure fire in the area of Highview Road.
- Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run in the area of the Race Street Kwik Fill station. However, police were unable to locate the vehicle involved, which has been described as an off-white Ford sports utility vehicle.
- Police received a noise complaint that occurred in the area of Flegal Road.
- Police received a report about a possible drunken motorist in the area of Dairy Lane.
- Police received a report about a traffic hazard in the area of the Clearfield – Curwensville Highway.
DuBois City
- While on routine patrol Friday, police witnessed a vehicle travelling into the opposite lane of traffic on South Main Street and almost striking the curb to make a right-hand turn onto Spring Avenue. Police subsequently pulled the vehicle over on Spring Avenue. While speaking to the driver, police were able to determine they had allegedly been drinking. Police arrested the driver as a result, and charges are currently pending.
- While on routine patrol Saturday, police witnessed a vehicle driving erratically on DuBois Street and West DuBois Avenue. Police subsequently pulled the vehicle over on West DuBois Avenue. While speaking to the driver, police were able to determine that he had allegedly been drinking. Police arrested the driver as a result, and charges are currently pending.
- Police were dispatched to a business on West Park Avenue for the report of an alarm Sunday. Upon arrival of police, they made contact with an employee and were able to determine that it was a false alarm.
- On Sunday police were dispatched to Robinson Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run. The victim told police that sometime overnight her truck was hit by a vehicle while it was parked on Robinson Street. The blue truck had damage to the rear driver’s side wheel well and had white and red paint transferred to it from the suspect vehicle, police said. Anyone with information in reference to this incident is asked to please contact the DuBois City Police Department.
- On Sunday police were dispatched to a business on the 100 block of North Main Street for a report of retail theft. Upon the arrival of police, they made contact with the female suspect. After completing their investigation, she was arrested for the incident.
