Harold J. Luzier, 83, of Clearfield died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at his home. Mr. Luzier was born June 24, 1933 in Bradford Township, the son of Kenneth C. and Loye E. (Mains) Luzier.
He had worked for many years at the Ritz Theater in Clearfield. Mr. Luzier was affiliated with the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Clearfield American Legion.
He is survived by a daughter, Aszure G. Luzier and her fiancé, David Carrier of Clearfield; three grandchildren, Brealee and Kieren Kephart and Charis Martell; his companion, Marilyn Sabol; a number of nieces and nephews; and his rescue puppy, Zoey.
Mr. Luzier was the last member of his generation. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen Spade and Mary Weber.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bennett & Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with Pastor Sean Patrick Smith officiating. Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield Honor Guard.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
