WOODLAND – Pack 2 Cub Scouts celebrated their first summer camp at the Woodland Campgrounds on June 10-12.

The boys learned about kayaking, swimming, fishing and orienting (compass work). They participated in primitive camping and even enjoyed movie night provided by the campgrounds.

The scouts would like to say “thank you” to all who donated to make this a great time. This included: Bob’s Army & Navy, Grice Gun Shop, JG Food Warehouse, Hometown Market, Weis Market and Jim’s Sports Center.

They would also like to give a “great big thank you” to the staff at the Woodland Campgrounds for letting them host the summer camp there.
