Sarah Jessica Parker fans rejoice. She’s back!
The 51-year-old actress took to Instagram to post the trailer for her new HBO show, “Divorce,” which is set to premiere this fall.
“A long time coming,” Parker wrote alongside the sneak peek. “And a great thrill that my friends @hbo allowed me to share with you the official FIRST look and just a wee appetizer of #DivorceonHBO.”
Parker plays Frances, a woman who decides that she’s no longer in love with her husband, Robert (Thomas Haden Church). She tells him she wants a divorce.
In the clip, Parker’s character is arguing with Church over an “emotional affair” that she considered to be cheating. Although it might sound a bit heavy for the normally chipper Parker, there definitely appear to be some lighthearted moments too.
“Sex and the City” fans may wish she was throwing on stilettos and palling around Manhattan with Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha but at least they get another dose of SJP.
