Joyce Edna (Termin) Holes, 98, of rural Irvona, died at her home Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
She was born April 2, 1918, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Alabama (Diggins) Termin. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener and quilter.
She is survived by her children, Edna Mae Morrison Shambaugh of Coalport and Beverly (Herman) Keith, Sherman George (Kina) Holes and Ellen Louise (Tom) Palmer, all of rural Irvona.
Mrs. Holes is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her brother, Jim Termin of the state of Washington and Nancy Buterbaugh of Cherry Tree.
Mrs. Holes was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Ivan; son, Irvin William; daughter-in-law, Cathy; grandson, Lee, granddaughter Carrie; and sons-in-law, Ben Morrison and Alfred Shambaugh.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service Friday at the Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona.
Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, rural LaJose.
