The Brockway Gridiron Association received a contribution from CNB Bank in support of the inaugural Frank Varischetti All-Star Game.
The game will take place at Frank Varischetti Field in Brockway on July 1, and will match up the Allegheny Mountain League and Keystone Shortway Athletic Conferences.
The game will feature graduating seniors from 21 local schools in 11 counties and gives a special opportunity to recognize some of the finest scholar-athletes in west-central Pennsylvania.
CNB’s support will help to fund scholarships for eight of the athletes participating in the event.
Presenting the contribution is Joe Bower, president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank (left). Receiving the contribution is Nick Hoffman, community initiatives coordinator of Varischetti Holdings (right).
