CLEARFIELD – Outstanding students at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) receive awards for their hard work.
Representatives from the Central Mountains Region Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) drove some of their antique cars to the CCCTC on May 18.
They presented their awards to the outstanding student, Kirstan Eger, in the Collision Repair program and the co-outstanding student, Cody Fleming, in the Automotive Mechanics program.
The president of the AACA presented the two students with an engraved plaque on a Sears Craftsman five-door tool chest with 300-piece, high-polished tool set.
CCCTC partners with employers and community organizations to collaborate and ensure students are learning the most current skills.
Employers and community organizations are an integral part of designing and updating curriculum. The AACA holds its meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at the Grice Museum in Clearfield, and new members are accepted.
