Penn State–Jefferson Co. Spring Seed and Soil Scoop to be held May 22

REYNOLDSVILLE – On May 22 people are invited to come enjoy a day of spring gardening classes, demonstrations and displays presented by the Penn State/Jefferson County Master Gardeners.

From 12 p.m. – 3 p.m., there will be speakers on the master gardener program, vermicomposting, composting, garden material recycling, building healthy soil, growing your own plants, herb gardens, community gardens, demonstrations, displays and refreshments at the Reynoldsville Foundry.

There will also be displays about USDA Soil Conservation, Bio Char soil amendment, the Jeff Tech Agriculture Program, 4-H, broad forks, hoop bending for low and high tunnel gardening and more.
