Doris Ryver, 84, of North Philipsburg died Friday, May 13, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born March 6, 1932 at Viola, she was a daughter of Michael and Anna (Bungo) Zazworsky.
She was a graduate of the former Madera High School. She had worked at Westinghouse, General Cigar Factory and the Philipsburg-Osceola School District from which she retired.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Philipsburg, the Circle of Faith and the former Philipsburg Area Hospital Auxiliary.
She also helped her husband, Paul, with collecting eye glasses for the Lions Club. She enjoyed floral arranging, gardening in her flower beds and shopping.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
On July 18, 1953 in Smithmill, she married Paul L. Ryver, who died Dec. 14, 1990.
She is survived by a daughter, Sharon L. Campomizzi and her husband, Tony of North Philipsburg; a son, Rick L. Ryver of North Philipsburg; five grandchildren, Paul Campomizzi, Craig Campomizzi, Erin Campomizzi, Rebecca Ryver and Rachael Ryver; and a sister, Irene Morroni of Janesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 121 S. Front St., Philipsburg, with the Rev. Brenda K. Leigey officiating. Burial will follow at the Philipsburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St., Philipsburg.
