CLEARFIELD – The Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger Yard Sale was held May 6-7 and raised a record amount for the annual event: $70,000.
Twelve tractor-trailer loads of items that were donated by the Wal-Mart Distribution Center No. 6027 in Woodland were sold both days at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds Expo Buildings 1 and 2.
The Clearfield County Fair Board and Clearfield County Queens for a Cause Program provided volunteer help and generous support for the event.
The funds raised by this event will help to provide pediatric equipment, programs and services at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital and throughout Geisinger Health System.
