Staff at the Clearfield County Planning and Community Development Office is asking for immediate help from selected Curwensville Municipal Authority (CMA) customers.

Since December, the planning office has been conducting a random Income Survey of CMA customers. It consists of five questions, along with others about the ethnical and racial composition of your family.

According to Lisa Kovalick, Clearfield County community development specialist, the authority is working with the county to identify funding options that will assist in paying for repair and placement of the authority’s sewage collection line system.

“Any grant funding will ease the cost burden for customers. Of CMA’s 1,217 residential customers, we have determined we need 292 surveys returned,” she said.

“Since December 2015, we have made two mailing attempts, traveled door-to-door with CMA employees and made numerous attempts by phone to complete the surveys.”

Kovalick added, “If you have received a survey and haven’t returned it or a phone call from our office, we ask that you contact us by May 13. You may call us at 814-765-5149 or to visit us our office is located at 212 E. Locust St., Suite 128, Clearfield.”
