CLEARFIELD – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle accident during the early-morning hours Monday, according to Lawrence Township police.
The driver, Kelly Shaffer, 57, of Tipton, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Shaffer was traveling on the Rockton Mountain Highway near Race Street at 12:19 a.m.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time.
