ExploreJefferson: Two Arrested on Terroristic Threats, Assault Charges in Huston Township

HUSTON TOWNSHIP (EYT) – DuBois-based state police say around 1:10 p.m. April 22, troopers responded to a report of terroristic threats and assault on Hoovertown Road in Huston Township, Jefferson County.

According to state police, a known, 63-year-old Penfield man entered into a verbal altercation with his 23-year-old daughter of DuBois. State police say “the accused threw and hit the victim with a pack of cigarettes.”

He then entered into a verbal altercation with his wife, a 59-year-old Penfield woman, and physically assaulted her, according to state police.

A 26-year-old DuBois man then physically assaulted the 63-year-old, state police say.

The 63-year-old man “eventually retrieved a knife and threatened death and serious bodily injury upon (the 26-year-old),” according to state police.

Both men were taken into custody and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail. The names of the suspects were not released by state police.
