Barbara A. Phillips, 78, of Osceola Mills died Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Windy Hill Village in Philipsburg.
Born Oct. 11, 1937 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Webb) Roberts.
She married Gerald M. Phillips in October of 1957. He preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 1988.
Mrs. Phillips was of the Christian faith.
She was a homemaker. She was a 1955 graduate of the former Houtzdale-Woodward-Brisbin High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Roberts, Alan Roberts and Robert Roberts.
She is survived by six sons, Robert F. Phillips and his wife, Michelle of Glenn Hope, Gerald G. Phillips and his wife, Amy and Charles A. Phillips, both of Osceola Mills, Tracy Lee Phillips of Elizabethtown, Thomas E. Phillips and his wife, Teresa of Morrisdale and Daniel J. Phillips and his wife, Mechelle of Louisiana and two sisters, Mary Roberts of Florida and Margaret Frisbee of Virginia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville, with the Rev. Mary Jo Bruinooge presiding. There will be no viewing or visitation.
