REYNOLDSVILLE – On April 4 and April 8, Jeff Tech students in Angela Dragich’s art classes had an opportunity to meet and learn from self-taught jewelry artist/metal smith Casey Sheppard.
Sheppard is a travelling nomad who has been on the road since July 1, 2015. She plans to return to her home in California by September of 2016.
When asked about her travels Sheppard told the students that, “Having freedom, being independent and having the ability to connect with others is what makes me truly happy.”
This experience for the students at Jeff Tech was made possible by Brockway Center for the Arts and Technology (BCAT) Coordinator of Youth and Arts Events, Kristine Gasbarrre.
