Gladys Marie “Olla” Harris, 59, of Grampian died Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital.

Born Aug. 11, 1956 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Amelia Fetzer Smeal. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and was United Methodist by faith.

On Aug. 1, 1987 in Glen Richey, she wed William Scott Harris, who survives, along with a son, William S. Harris Jr. and his fiancée, Elizabeth Curry of Grampian; a nephew, Mark Harris, who she raised as well as his son, Chase Harris.

Also surviving are two sisters and three brothers,  Barbara Gearhart of Bloomington, Greg Smeal of Shawville, Wendy Smeal and her husband, Benny of Chesterfield, Victor Evans and Jerry Evans and his wife, Vickey, both of Clearfield, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Smeal and a sister, Cindy Smeal.

Services for Gladys Harris will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Curwensville with the Rev. Stephen Shields officiating.  Burial will be in the Bloomington Cemetery Curwensville.

Friends will be received from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
