How does Donald Trump make his supporters feel?

One thing that’s clear talking to Donald Trump’s most die-hard supporters at his events is that their support seems unshakeable.

Trump said in January that he could “stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters,” which may not be too much of an exaggeration. And that’s because for a certain set of the people who support the Republican presidential front-runner, it’s not his policy positions that move them — it’s the way he makes them feel.

So at a series of recent Trump rallies in Wisconsin, we tried to gauge the visceral reasons people are backing Trump for president. We asked them: How does Donald Trump make you feel?

For some, the question brought up feelings of excitement at being part of Trump’s political movement. In others, the question brought out negativity toward President Barack Obama, who one audience member referred to using an epithet.

“I’ll vote for Trump no matter what.”

“I’m Trump all the way.”

“I’m here to the end — to November.”

Watch their reactions — often emotional — in the video above.
