Henry L. Smith, 78, of Philipsburg died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield.
Born Dec. 10, 1937, he was the son of the late Isaac G. and Alice K. Frantz Smith.
Mr. Smith was a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was a member of the AMVETS Post No. 159, VFW and American Legion, all of Philipsburg. He was also a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Osceola Mills.
He is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Smith of Hawk Run and Howard Smith of Wallaceton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Elsie; a sister, Norma Smith; and two brothers, Isaac Jr. and Charles Smith.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. April 17 at the AMVETS in Philipsburg. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
