Don’t get your hopes up for a Khloe Kardashian-Lamar Odom vow renewal any time soon.
That’s the theory, anyway, after the reality star took to social media this weekend to share her feelings.
Kardashian posted a photo which read “It doesn’t matter how loyal you are to someone. You can’t change someone’s heart and bad habits unless they want to themselves.”
Under the image was a long caption which began “Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself.”
“Letting go with love takes great strength,” the caption continued. “We have to learn to stop taking on peoples problems as if they are our own. Loving people does not mean we have to carry their burdens and confusions on our back.”
What continued was plenty of advice on love and life, including that “Sometimes the person you want most is the person you’re best without.”
The assumption is that Kardshian is referring to her estranged husband, Odom, who continues to recover months after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch, a Nevada brothel. Kardashian has been standing by him.
The pair have been spotted together a great deal lately, which has led to theories that they were reconciling. (Though Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, the two are still legally married.)
The image and insta-sharing of her feelings came after another image Kardashian shared in which she wrote, “Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you love them, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all their heart.”
That’s a lot of sharing and theorizing, but don’t jump to conclusions, Kardashian tweeted.
“Every now and then i post a message with a long caption because I’m speaking from my heart. I know it gets lengthy but I feel the message is important to get across for ME. I don’t write these about anyone per say but they are feelings,” she tweeted.
She added, “The fact that certain blogs are picking up what I wrote and are trying to read deeper into my post is what prevents me from writing more of my thoughts on social media. Not everything is a subliminal.”
